  • Provide a valid USI
  • Be eligible to study in Australia with the Australian College of Community Services and Care
  • Hold the required criminal and working with children checks (if applicable)

Learning Material Examples ACCSC

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available to suitable ACCSC learners who have at least three to five years of relevant industry experience. Eligible learners will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and gain RPL through our assessment only pathway.

This Skill Set requires satisfactory completion of 4 units:

  • CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk
  • CHCPRT026 Support the rights and safety of children and young people
  • CHCPRT027 Work collaboratively to maintain an environment safe for children and young people
  • CHCMHS007 Work effectively in trauma informed care

Work Placement

Learners will be required to undertake minimum 120 hours of work placement. Learners will need to organise their own placement at a site that meets all requirements of the Workplace Resources Checklist
