PLAGIARISM

ACCSC takes plagiarism very seriously and it will not be tolerated. Plagiarism that is identified within a learner’s assessment may lead to cancellation of their enrolment with no refund. Learners who are warned about plagiarism and continue to submit work that is not their own will have their enrolment cancelled with no refund offered.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

Plagiarism is the use of another source’s or persons work (words), within a learner’s assessment, without referencing where the information came from. If learners copy and paste text from another document (a text book, the Learner Guide, the internet or another learner’s work), this is plagiarism. It is the act of stealing another person’s work, this includes using AI such as ChatGPT to produce any part of an assessment.

RE-SUBMISSION OF PLAGIARISED WORK

Learners accept there will be a $50 re-submission fee per assessment after the 2nd submission that has been returned by a trainer to a learner because of plagiarism or marked as not yet competent because of plagiarised work. Learners accept that no assessments will be marked until the $50 fee is paid.
