This qualification reflects the role of a new worker wanting to become an Allied Health Assistant and gain entry to the aged care, disability and other health sectors. They may provide assistance, under the delegation and supervision of Allied Health Professionals (AHP).
Supervision may be direct, indirect or remote, according to the individual Allied Health Assistant’s scope of practice and experience.
To achieve this qualification, you must complete at least 120 hours of work placement with an allied health service provider in Australia.
If you decide that the course isn’t the right fit, you’ll receive a 100% refund if you withdraw within the first 14 days.
Please note: Holders of Subclass 500 Visas and visas with certain study restrictions are ineligible to study with ACCSC. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available to suitable ACCSC learners who have at least three to five years of relevant industry experience. Eligible learners will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and gain RPL through our assessment only pathway.

ACCSC will provide the following resources:
ACCSC provides learners with a dedicated trainer to support them through their learning journey. Trainers have extensive industry experience allowing them to not only support learners in their learning journey and give guidance when entering or advancing in the workforce. Administrative support is available after hours.
Learners must undertake 120 hours of work placement to complete this qualification. Learners will need to organise their own placement at a site that meets all requirements of the Workplace Resources Checklist
