  • Provide a valid USI
  • Be eligible to study in Australia with the Australian College of Community Services and Care
  • Hold the required criminal and working with children checks (if applicable)

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available to suitable ACCSC learners who have at least three to five years of relevant industry experience. Eligible learners will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and gain RPL through our assessment only pathway.

  • CHCCCS036 Support relationships with carer and family
  • CHCCCS038 Facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support
  • CHCPAL003 Deliver care services using a palliative approach

Work Placement

Learners will be required to undertake minimum 30 hours of work placement in a service provider to those requiring palliative care. Learners will need to organise their own placement at a site that meets all requirements of the Workplace Resources Checklist
