- Be eligible to study in Australia with the Australian College of Community Services and Care
- Hold the required criminal and working with children checks (if applicable)

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available to suitable ACCSC learners who have at least three to five years of relevant industry experience. Eligible learners will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and gain RPL through our assessment only pathway.

Dedicated Trainer and After Hours Support
ACCSC provides learners with a dedicated trainer to support them through their learning journey. Trainers have extensive industry experience allowing them to not only support learners in their learning journey and give guidance when entering or advancing in the workforce. - CHCCCS038 Facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support
- CHCPAL003 Deliver care services using a palliative approach
Target Group
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in supporting people who require palliative care, within the delegations of an established individualised plan.
Work Placement
Learners will be required to undertake minimum 30 hours of work placement in a service provider to those requiring palliative care. Learners will need to organise their own placement at a site that meets all requirements of the Workplace Resources Checklist
